Axis Mundi Games, LLC publishes Cosmic Rebellion. This policy explains what we collect when you play on cosmicrebellion.games or open the table inside ChatGPT, why we collect it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how to ask for a change.
What we collect
Playing a match does not create an account. We store the match itself: the deck you chose, the board, and a random match id so the same table can be reopened. That id is the only identifier the game needs. We do not ask for your name.
The site sets a session cookie so a visit can stay consistent while you move around the pages. Your browser may also remember the match id for the table you have open.
If you join the physical-deck waitlist, we store the email address you submit. The ChatGPT plugin does not ask for that email. The tool that opens the table takes no personal fields and does not receive your chat.
Our host keeps ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser, and the page requested, so we can keep the site running and respond to abuse.
Why we use it
- To deal a match, save it, and let you return to it.
- To reopen that same match when you play inside ChatGPT.
- To write to you if you asked to hear when the physical decks are ready to order.
- To operate, secure, and fix the site.
Who receives it
We use the information to run the game. The company that hosts cosmicrebellion.games processes it for that purpose. We do not sell personal information.
When you play inside ChatGPT, OpenAI operates the conversation and the plugin window. We receive the request to open the table, and the widget can store the match id so the game can resume. We do not receive the chat transcript.
How long we keep it
A match file stays so you can come back to that table. We delete inactive matches as part of operating the game. A waitlist email stays until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need it to tell you about the physical decks. Server logs follow the host's ordinary retention for security and operations.
Your choices
Email hello@cosmicrebellion.games to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to delete a waitlist email or a match. You can also stop using the plugin from ChatGPT's plugin settings. Clearing the site cookie and the saved match id in your browser starts you at a new table.
